Unsure much about this boat ramp, came to view the river after the rains. Parking has extra large parking spots for vehicle with trailer. Boat launch looked in good condition and plenty wide.

The last take out ramp for the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area doubles as a boat ramp as well. Able to handle boat trailers to launch out onto the Chattahoochee or to recover. Open from 30 minutes prior to sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. Use of the ramp is free, but there is a $5 daily fee to park unless you have an annual or nation park pass.

A hidden gem sandwiched between mega apartment complexes, strip malls, stately homes and major highways. Although many people visit this park and its sister park, there are still many more that don't know it exist even as they drive passed it every day. This park sitting on the shoulder of the Chattahoochi river is a peaceful and beautiful multi use green space in the valley of over development. There is a foot path for jogging, cyclists and for those who move at a more leisurely pace. There is a picnic area with tables, benches, grills and bear/raccoon proof trash cans as well as a handicapped accessible men's and women's bathroom. There are two boat ramps, one primarily used for kayak's, canoes, rafts, tubes and other non motorized water craft. The 2nd boat ramp is used by power craft and has boat trailer and truck parking. The park displays an amazing amount of wildlife from moles to deer, and a variety of beautiful snakes, but you only need be aware and cautious of Copperheads under fallen logs, and brush near the rivers edge. It is very rare to see one and even rarer to be bitten by one. The park requires payment for parking and does accept cash, debit and credit cards at a centrally located machine that will dispense a tag for you to display in your window. It is important that you do this, because the park is routinely patrolled by rangers and at times are even staked out in the parking lot to ticket violators who fail to pay for parking. Its only a few dollars and needed to support the park, so pay it and enjoy the park.

A great spot to take out of the river when floating with tons of parking. People make it pretty trashy at the end of the day (shame) but whoever is in charge does a great job cleaning it up. We’ve always seen it in great shape when we arrive.
