I've heard a lot of good things about the fish & chips at this place, and it definitely did not disappoint This spot is basically a bar - where the inside has the booths you'd associate with a classic bar, while the outside has more traditional tables This makes the inside an interesting vibe when I came here for a weekday lunch, but I didn't mind it Their fish and chips comes with coleslaw and tartar sauce as well. What's interesting is that unlike the usual beer batter, the cod here is breaded with panko breading instead, and then deep-fried. This creates a very unique experience, something unlike I've had with fish and chips before; and it's pretty excellent The breading shines in particular. It's very consistent throughout - there's no missing spots anywhere on the fish. While I wouldn't say it's *insanely* crispy, it does create a good crunch throughout that's snappy and responsive to the teeth. The color is also a dark-ish brown, but not too dark. It's also not overly oily, which I like The inside of the fish is also excellent. It's incredibly moist - they managed to not overcook this, while getting it to a good fry-level. It's very juicy and I enjoyed it a lot Fries (or chips) wise, these are also great. They're super soft on the inside, and salted extremely well. There's also just so many of them. The coleslaw is surprisingly not super mayo-based, which was a relief. It had much more of a tangy taste from the acidity of the lime The part I liked the most here was the tartar sauce, though. It was so amazing - the absolute perfect viscosity, amazing texture, the perfect amount of acidity & fat mixed together. Dipping the fish in this sauce created an entirely new experience than just having the fish on its own. It's easily the best tartar sauce I've ever had, and it's not close I had to ask for two cups to get through the meal because I was dipping it in so much The fish pieces are pretty large, and the portion of fries is also considerable. With tax & tip, this comes out to around $20, which is honestly not bad given the portion size. Overall, I haven't had better fish & chips anywhere else in the city yet. 9/10

Daniel had a list of must-try spots before heading back to the island, and fish and chips were at the top. We heard Pacific Inn Pub had some of the best in Seattle—and they delivered! Crispy, golden lightly breaded cod, perfectly seasoned fries, and a laid-back dive bar atmosphere that made the whole experience memorable. It’s exactly the kind of no-frills, great-flavor place you hope to find. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!

Cool dive with nice fish and chips. Plenty of seating around pool table for a small group, we had like 8-10 people back there and were chilling. Food was excellent, light and crispy fish with decent enough fries. Tartar sauce is good and pickle forward. Reviews say bad service but it’s dive bar service, you’re in their house don’t expect to have your hand held just order your stuff and keep it pushing. Would be a cool spot to be a regular at. Lots of parking out back!

The food was good, but the service completely ruined the experience. Our waitress, who had short curly hair and glasses, was rude from the start. She acted like we were bothering her when we placed our order, asked for a refill, and requested the check. It was clear she treated us differently than the white guests around us — they received attentive service while we got attitude and cold behavior. After reading other reviews, it’s obvious this isn’t a one-time issue. There’s a consistent pattern of this server being rude and dismissive, especially toward people of color. It’s unacceptable and disappointing to experience that kind of treatment in 2025. Management seriously needs to address this.

It’s small inside but not too small. Comfortable atmosphere. Full bar. Cozy booths. Very cold inside (November). Fair Prices for the food. And it was pretty delicious. Better than the average fish and chips. It came with coleslaw, but it was NOT good. The cabbage was cut too thick which gave it the wrong texture and made it dry and flavorless. The tortilla chips were amazing, but did not come with enough pico and guacamole. I love how they serve food until 1am. Drink pour is decent but for $7.50 for a single well this place did not earn a spot on my personal list of watering holes.
