It’s a scene, but it’s a friendly and welcoming scene. Three of the courts rotate groups of 4 for more social games and the other three are Kings courts, where doubles partners challenge the pair that won the last game. The Kings are definitely competitive, so bring your A game or have fun with your learning opportunity. It would be nice if one of the Kings courts was reserved for mixed doubles, but that’s about my only complaint. I’ll definitely play here, again, next time I’m in Austin.

Fun pickle ball in Austin! Good place to play with friends or join a game of pick up. Tends to be crowded after work, better in the evening. The park has 3 courts with nets and lights that operate until 10pm.

Fun place to play “street” pickleball. Courts are slick af but it’s fine once you get the hang out it. Lights available till 10pm makes it a good place to play after work. There are 3 courts for kings court with permanent nets that are two on, winners stay on. There are 3 other courts with temporary nets that are for friendlys or 4 on 4 off play. However on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays soccer takes over the temporary courts making it a longer wait to play on the challenger side. Everyone is super friendly and it’s always a fun time.

Some good pickleball to be found here. Just don't expect fast rotations. 3 challenge courts means some good competition usually however every new challenger needs to warm up and that slows things down considerably. If you're not winning you'll be waiting a lot. You'll also be better off bringing a partner to get that better chance at winning.

Overall great ATX pickleball scene. Courts could use work of course but hey you get what you pay for. Great king of the court and rec game system for all level of players. Whether you're super new or a seasoned 4.0-5.0 plus this place is pretty dope!!!
