Don’t let bad reviews regarding parking sway your opinion about the companies; boat charter and AirBNB/VRBO that operate out this location. This marina has 5k people a day coming through it a weekend. Be patient while you make your way to the show. 😉 If a guest can’t afford an extra $5 in their ride-share for parking they probably can’t afford the charter. I can assure you, it’s worth it not to have to drag ALL your gear down to the lake. I spent a significant amount of time here and NEVER had a single incident or any reason to complain. Is it loud? Yes. It’s a marina. It’s a super fun place to AirBNB and or charter a boat but it’s not going to be the quietest on the weekends. For my fellow cinematographers & YouTubers the end of D Dock is one of my favorite places to Timelapse the sunset on Lake Travis. Point your camera just to the left of The HEB Mansion. If you want to charter out a boat or AirBNB from Paradise, message me. I know a guy(s). Rented a Sea Ray that was well maintained & ran great!! It’s a long walk from where you park to get to the Marina especially with a heavy cooler but was not a problem at all they brought up a golf cart & loaded up the cooler & took us down there. I see on other reviews people complaining about the long walk that’s all marinas on Travis!! Just call when you get there & tell them you have a cooler or just want a ride & they will come on up. Usually they will see you & you don’t have to call. They have nice boats that are bigger & cheaper than other boat rental companies around. Will be back & definitely recommend them.
