I have been going to Park Hill Yoga for almost 10 years and have never loved a studio more! The instructor and community are incredible. This is not your typical "gym yoga" and instead is truly an education in yoga. I attended classes through 39 weeks pregnant and felt so supported and taken care of the entire time. I then returned after giving birth and these classes helped me so much. If you want to learn from a great teacher, this studio is for you!

I love this studio! I almost don't want to write a review so the classes stay small. Deborah is a fantastic teacher and I'm really glad I found Park Hill Yoga.

I had an extremely disappointing experience in this morning’s yoga class. As someone who is pregnant, I came in expecting a supportive and welcoming environment, but instead, the instructor was repeatedly disrespectful and made me deeply uncomfortable. From the beginning, Deb made a big deal about my modifications, rather than simply allowing me to practice in a way that felt safe for my body. Instead of offering support, they made inappropriate comments and even asked if I was “one week pregnant.” Throughout the class, she continued to single me out, repeatedly bringing up my pregnancy in a way that felt intrusive and unnecessary. The most upsetting moment was when they told me to “lift the corners of my mouth” because I had been “frowning the entire class and it’s bad for the baby.” When I didn’t respond—because I was shocked—she pressed me further, asking if I had heard them. Yoga should be a space where people feel safe, not shamed. This experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and frankly, unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Deborah was a wonderfully patient teacher. I'm quite a beginner and looking to align all sorts of my structure. The corrections and instructions of stabilizing my joints are still with me still from my first lesson. She's given me realistic tips and tricks to slip into my daily routine to help lengthen the back of my neck. She's amazing at targeting all the tightest and most deficient parts of the body. Her healing energy and passion is a treasure to observe! Park Hill yoga was definitely a quiet oasis I very much enjoyed.

The instructor and owner, Deb, is fantastic! She is incredibly knowledgeable both of Iyengar yoga and anatomy of the human body. During class, lots of adjustments and props are used for proper alignment. Deb clearly demonstrates the poses and gives good verbal instruction. As a returning Iyengar yoga student, I am thrilled to find a studio close to my neighborhood that is so good! I love it!
