Massive shoutout to LEXI, the bartender whose energy and warmth transformed our evening, and EUGENE, part of the staff team who made sure everything ran smoothly. Their enthusiasm and genuine hospitality are the reasons I’ll keep coming back. I literally went Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because I wanted to see Lexi and Eugene. Bonus points for their perfect Guinness draft pours (yes, the kind that hits the spot every time) and the surprisingly delicious house-made peanut butter shots, a quirky but unforgettable treat. Hands down the best bar downtown San Diego! The happy hour is awesome and the staff is incredible. Its busy enough to have a great time without being too crowded inside. Live music almost every night except Monday, I believe. Check the place out!

This place does not close at 2 am. The manager starts harassing people an hour earlier because, in her words, she wants to go home. Her shrieking voice and turning all of the lights on unnecessarily are clearly designed to get you out before closing. I don’t know who owns this bar but they should find a manager who can manage it appropriately
