Nice old school bar with a fun crowd.

It’s a pretty cool place with two pool tables, a very long bar, wide open entrances on both ends, and location right smack in the middle of downtown Sunnyvale. That said, it seemed odd to me that the only employee present was a young, pretty, female bartender. She would get caught up in conversations (a.k.a. guys hitting on her no doubt) at one end of the bar and then neglect the other end of the bar for what felt like long periods of time. How about a second bartender? Perhaps also a security guard, maybe even one at each entrance? I fear for the bartender’s safety. There was one crazy and/or drugged up guy wandering the bar the whole night, annoying everyone he encountered and clearly not buying anything. Another guy walked in and picked up the cue ball in the middle of a pool league game, apparently thinking it was funny. It was not funny, nor is the way this bar is being run. I won’t be surprised to hear that it gets robbed and/or vandalized considering it’s wide open cash-only with no security (none that I noticed anyway, and certainly none that was doing anything).

Never in my life have I been kicked out of a bar or have been denied a beer. Tonight I walked up to the bar with a buddy and asked for a couple beers. First thing she asked (dark hair and mid drift showing, black shirt) was if we came from the bar next door, Figgar McGee's. We said yes we came from there. She refused to serve us. She said my friend was slurring his words. He's visiting from Indiana we had 2 beers over a 2 hour period. We were not nearly intoxicated, in fact I'm writing this review right after it happened. Maybe she was having a bad day. Another person there was getting kicked out at the same time and he actually seemed sober too. Your employees need to leave their baggage at home and not take it out on your customers. Personally, I will never come back. I hope you guys do better.

They have 3 pinball machines, 2 pool tables, 2 electronic dart boards, a jukebox, an ATM machine, and all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceiling available for their patrons to enjoy!! The atmosphere can go anywhere from calm and mellow during midday, to exciting, jovial, entertaining, and filled with dancing and laughter in the late evenings. As far as the patrons, they has a great, blended environment; so no one will feel out of place if you decide to go. So... if you want to go to a place where you'll feel welcomed and have a great time, then Paul & Harvey's on Murphy Ave. is the place for you!!🥂🍾😅 *Photo's to come...!
