Peaceful Dragon School offers students a welcoming place to learn. Over many years, through her own deep training and practice, Master Young has developed teaching methods allowing her students to progress from learning basic body movement/posture mechanics to deeper, more fluid and mindful practices. I have found Master Young to be both incredibly knowledgeable (master-full) and good-humored- a rare combination in my experience. I am very grateful to have been a Tai Chi student here for 4 years.

Master Young has dedicated her life to the study and teaching of Tai Chi. I've travelled to Asia many times and met many martial arts teachers. Master Young's skill and style is inclusive & beautiful. It's a great way to enhance your physical and emotional strength. Highly recommended!

I started in Tai Chi classes and then switched to Qigong for some extra self-care during covid, and it's truly changed my life for the better! Master Young is an amazing teacher with an incredibly rich knowledge of the Tai Chi and Qigong forms. She always has wisdom to share, and helps you cultivate your own spiritual and physical strength. I'm now almost finished with my teacher certification in Qigong, and it has been such a joy sharing this practice with others!

I like being in the space of this (mostly) traditional Chinese tai chi school—the silence, the ceramic figures of Cheng Man-Ching, the art on the walls, the heavy wooden benches, the meditation room. Master Young is an insightful teacher with many practical tips/stories learned over years of study with disciples of Cheng Man-Ching. She is also a phenomenal player, embodying an essence that can hardly be taught. Her students come from all walks of life. They seem happy, and have respect for each other.

I've been a Tai Chi student at PDS for 9 years, and now also teach beginner classes since 2023. Master Young brings deep knowledge, wisdom, and humor to teaching. I get relaxation and meditative movement that I enjoy from it.
