Love a place that stays open late and has good boba! Service was okay. The staff seemed uninterested in us but they had a kiosk to order which was possibly easier anyway. Fun atmosphere, lighting and music. The boba was good flavor and texture even though we ordered drinks at 10pm. Love the option for a split cup so you can try two different flavors. Only thing is I wish they had outdoor seating.

Even though it's on the main road, it's tucked away in a quiet strip of stores, making it a peaceful pitstop. Another plus: online ordering! It's super convenient for skipping the line. Unfortunately, when I visited, the store was completely empty, so I can't speak for the in-store experience. The downside is that all the seating is indoors – no outdoor patio to enjoy. Speaking of the order, I went for the "Pretty in Pink" milk tea with sea salt cream and strawberry chunks. The drink was functionally flawed. The cup overflowed, dripping down the sides. A quick wipe from the staff would have been nice. The drink itself was a mixed bag. The creamy sea salt cream was delightful, but the milk tea had a strange bitter aftertaste. The strawberry chunks were a bit too chunky for me, but they are customizable, so you can skip them if you prefer. The boba itself was decent, chewy, and flavorful. Overall, Pekoe Sunnyvale is convenient and has the potential to be great.

This tea house looks like a strip club with pink, suggestive decor, and a big screen showing K-pop on one side while the other side fake fireplaces. Seatings were contradictorily mixed with the comfort of long cushioned pink sofa and the discomfort of white hard slippery chairs. Let the man-go smoothie was way too sweet; Pekoe special didn't taste any tea flavors. My Thai Tea Whities (can't believe I am drinking men's undies. 😂) was a mess, tasted neither matcha nor anything else, pudding was good though. Service was friendly, that's the only good thing at Pekoe.

Pekoe has a wide selection of Boba teas, chill interior with lots of seating, helpful and friendly staff. They are very generous with their toppings. Prices are the usual 6.50-8 depending on the type of drink. There’s lots of parking. It’s near Lee’s Sandwiches.

Finally, I don't have to drive all the way down to SJ to get boba. They have a very DJ kind of vibes when you walk in with all the LED lights cubes/chairs. They have a very good selection. For our drinks, the sugarcoat was the best if you want/need energy because that will wake you up. Do not try this at night if you want to sleep. The teas are tasty too, would recommend. Friendly cashier!
