Omg, this spot is amazing. Great location, and friendly staff. Our instructor Rosie is very patient, and effortlessly instructs us. If you listen to your instructors you’ll learn to swim better. Courses is for adults & kids. It’s so hard to find swimming courses for adults but this is the spot. You can enhance your skills too, if you already know how to swim. It’s always room for improvement. I always say if you can’t swim in the Ocean or Sea w/ out grabbing onto rails , then you can’t swim. Hahahaha! Lots of lockers, and showers, but plz bring a lock to secure your things. I recommend, this location bc it’s in the Grand Central area close to all transportation. Enjoy!

Penguin City heen a professional, effective and wonderful experience. We switched to Penguin on October 2024 from another local program which we had been attending for 2 yrs non-stop since my son was 2 year old. Within 3 sessions with Penguin my kid finally had the breakthrough to swim in her own. I believe the secret of success at Penguin is individual attention instead of repetitive regimented protocol practiced by previous swim classes. Instructors pay close attention to the child’s progress and keep practicing the required skill until the kid finally understands and starts acting accordingly. The individual approach has done wonders. Two instructors Sophie and Calvin have been wonderful to our son.

Penguin city swim is incredible. Our 4 year old daughter has been getting lessons there for about 8 months and she loves it. Everyone, from the staff up front to the instructors are all amazing. Special shout out to Hailey, who is so so kind and has been so helpful catering to our scheduling needs. Same goes for Toni. And an extra special shout out to Calvin. He is top notch. Our daughter adores him and he is not only a next level swim instructor (the improvements she has made with him have honestly been shocking) but he genuinely has a way with kids that makes the lessons so much fun for them. Highly recommend!
