Last week We went for Wednesday Yoga Class & "Wine"-Down... Class was canceled (w/o notification) & 3 Cars were broken into in the Broad daylight on the adjacent side street! DO NOT PARK ON SIDE STREET. The entrance features a Library (Reading Room) upon entering and hidden Art Gallery in the rear. The environment was eclectic and asthetically pleasing & comfortable!

I’m obsessed so let’s talk about why! Atlanta is a hub for black excellence by way of black owned businesses. So when i find one they gotta run me outta the joint. Peter’s street is no different. But they’ve done their thing as far as ambiance and culture. Let’s talk about it. I’ve never been to a place that offered hooch and a good book until i visited this speakeasy. There’s a bookshelf that makes up the farthest wall. Yes, books and booze! But why read when there’s live music ranging from Gnarles Barkley to little Richey. The red brick walls and hanging ivy plants are such a date night vibe when combined with the live music and close seating. Want a Love Jones vibe.. this is it! But the best part about the place is the museum in the back. Black artists. Local showings. It’s so beautiful. Grace the bartender is a moment. Tell her Zaire sent you.

This place is special and unique! The staff is like family and this is a place where love, positive vibes and great energy reside. They host events on a weekly and monthly basis that are for the community. Everyone is welcome regardless of background, outfit or social status. The pictures below show off the unique space that allows for a group chat as well as sidebar conversations. Please check the social media links for events and times to come experience one of Atlanta’s best kept secrets. There is also a hidden art gallery where in house artists and guests display their work! I dare you to come out for a Wednesday night jam session and you will be hooked. Special thanks to Miya Bailey, Mr Q, Petie Parker, Andrew Bloom, Jaymee, Redd, EJ and Jahnovaa for flashing a smile, sharing a fist bump or dropping jewels to make me better. Special thanks to my brothers Daniel and Alphonso!
