Cheapest opera tickets in America. Opera hall is convention center seating controlled by Phoenix unions. Parking can be a nightmare. Operas and ball games and rock concerts and special events may be scheduled the same day leaving you hopelessly stuck in traffic. During performances the convention center doors will vibrate from massive speakers sometimes located in the hall next to the opera and symphony building. Homeless people are everywhere with a police presence. Go for Sunday matinee tickets. In 12 years I have not heard of one good restaurant in downtown Phoenix.
