Quiet, shaded & peaceful preserve. The Zinfandel Trail begins at the parking lot at the Winery has gentle inclines with plenty of spring blooms & greenery. Soft dirt path that starts wide but narrows to single track. A 2-mile walk leads to the other end (near Steven's Canyon Rd), which also has a (small) parking lot. It's an out n back trail. There are multiple branch-off points, so it's entirely possible to extend your range since the preserve boasts some 10 miles of trails. Watch out for poison oak. We encountered a baby rattler also.

Found this place as a trail on alltrails app. Went on the zinfandel trail and it was one of the better trails i have been on. There is a wine tasting room, nice picnic area, sufficient parking, restroom close by and a great variety with fantastic views on the trail.

Love this place! It’s a small and very nice winery. Always bring my European friends here. They have very good balanced wine list.

Beautiful hike in Zinfandel trail leads through forest trail to the road or picnic side. To make a loop will need to cross the creek.

An amazing experience of scenic hiking, outdoor picnic, and wine tasting. The wine was some of the best I’ve tried and the indoor staff were friendly and helpful. We will absolutely come back. I only wish the wine bottles were a little less expensive. I could only afford to buy 1 during our visit. The indoor bar was great. Was I supposed to tip for the flight of wines? It didn’t occur to me until much later and I’m still not sure.
