This is a very nice swimming pool in the heart of Piedmont Park! Opened seasonally and sponsored by the City of Atlanta. For a small price (five dollars) you can go in. If you come between 3pm-5pm the pool can even be entered for free, but this may be a temporary action. That’s a great service! See the website for the most accurate situation. The pool is lovely to see with the old buildings and has four lanes for lap swimming, a beach like pool with a gently sloping floor ideally for young kids. The main attraction is the current channel and the “centrifuge” which lets you float around, very much fun! And some fountains for the smallest children. If you bring your own padlock, you can even have your own free locker. It is therefore surprising to find out that they have a policy called “adult swim only”, every hour from .45 till the hour. No kids allowed in the water… no kidding! That I find a weird rule and not very inclusive for families with children. Especially if you have paid for entrance, kids can only swim for 45 minutes per hour while adults can swim for 60 minutes. I would understand it better if you would organise complete adult hours, if you must… This is actually the only negative point I can mention. For the rest it’s a gem inside Piedmont park. Would go there again though and try to not to be bothered about that strange rule to exclude young adults to be…

Very nice family friendly pool! 15 minutes before every hour is adult swim only which is super nice! The whole pool is on 3.6 feet deep so not deep unfortunately. There is a lazy river and a whirl pool though! Locker rooms were very clean!

The outdoor pool is open all summer long with free swim from 3pm-5pm. Very scenic area with a concession stand, pool deck with a lap pool, children area, free locker, restrooms with showers, and adjustable pool chairs. Very neat that it’s located in a historic bathe house.
