This place is very clean, closes at 5 pm, and quiet. If you have to go to the bathroom after 5 pm, stop at the Taco Bell up the street

Love this building! It has great food options, a tech store and a barnes & Noble lite. It also has great meeting/studying spaces.

Somewhat outdated but pretty good location. Connected to the Duderstadt Center which is a huge plus. Plus they have gyros and Japanese food. Five stars, and definitely miles better than Palmer Commons.

It's fine as a commons area but I feel like it's a missed opportunity. The place is fairly outdated with limited food options and is kinda disgusting on the first floor. It's basically the only place to get food on North campus (there's the area on Plymouth but that's a bit of a walk) so you would really expect a bit more. At least they have Ahmos.

Nothing special about this place. Fireside is a nice place to study and get overpriced food, but the first floor is pretty dingey and uncomfortable. On top of that, the kitchens aren't designed too well, because the smell of all the food seeps from one restaurant to the other. This never happened when the Union basement was open. On top of all this, it's by far the worst union on campus and in dire need of a renovation on the bottom two floors. I know everyone who will read this has no choice but to go through pierpont, so don't worry, I am standing in solidarity with you.
