Great video game store! This one is a bit smaller and has less selection then the one in U-District, but it has a very high quality selection of games at good prices. Awesome staff as well and the store has a very nice layout. Ended up buying Madden 05' for the DS. Great store in the area!

Came in to do trade ins on some DS games I hadn't played in awhile, and had brought them with me all the way from Virginia, because I know Pink Gorilla's reputation for being exceptional. Also I was planning a vacation out in Washington anyhow, but that's beside the point. I forget the name of the fellow who helped me, but he was thorough and clearly knew what he was doing, while also helping other customers. He made sure I knew it might take some time, and offered to contact me later if I needed to leave, but I didn't have any other plans for awhile, and wanted to browse what I would spend the store credit on anyhow. Great variety of interesting items, and they make sure to note that the save battery has been replaced in an older game, as expected since one of the owners worked with the Video Game History Foundation. If I'm ever in Seattle again, I'll be certain to stop by.

This was such a cool random find! I was walking by when I saw the sign for it and decided to stop in. There is such a cool collection of old and recent games as well as plushies and collectables. The staff was super friendly and helpful, being the tourist I am I asked for any recommendations and was given so many cool things to check out. Ended up buying two sets of Pokemon cards (they have a good selection) and a little figurine to take home. Totally worth stopping by if you're in the area!

Has a really great and wide selection of games here. I went both to this one and the one in the University District in the span of 2 days, questionable behavior I know but it was absolutely worth it. These stores are absolutely packed with retro games, reminds me a lot of game stores in Akihabara (but cheaper), not just because of the towers and towers of games, but also because of how many imports they have. Staff were very friendly and pointed out that I was buying the Japanese imports just to make absolutely sure, and overall the prices were pretty good, probably because the games I bought were all in Japanese, but I'd still say it was absolutely worth it. And yes they sell games in English too, like a lot more games in English than in Japanese, but it's just nice to find this many Japanese imports somewhere.
