An easy beautiful hike. Are you trying to decide which hike in Forest park to do? Don’t think about it and come here. There’s some beautiful trees, a stream, ponds, gazebos, a little creek and the wonderful sounds of the forest, the birds. Forest park is at the heart of the city yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. There’s no bikes, horses or dogs allowed on this trail but it’s definitely worth the peace you feel while you are walking. I will continue to return and enjoy my peace.

This place is pretty confusing. I don't know if I went to the right spot. There's not actually a parking lot where I went I just had to pull off the side of the road and there were a lot of abandoned looking vehicles. It would be best described as"very Portland" there was a trail through abandoned cars and garbage that led to a really cool old bus that was being reclaimed by the Earth that housed a chicken coop. It's an interesting little Adventure if you're looking for something odd to do on a day off. It's nicely located inside of dense Forest Park if chickens make you happy and old rusty cars and you've got a fresh tetanus shot I recommend this spot.
