PlayDate PDX is a great indoor play space if you have high-energy older kids — my 4-year-old had a blast and was sweaty from running and climbing the huge play structure (which I loved!). My 10-year-old also had a great time exploring. That said, this space really isn’t set up for little ones. I came with my 9-month-old as well, and there wasn’t much for her to do or a designated soft area to safely explore. The layout is better suited for ages 4 and up — I’d say especially great for boys ages 4–10 who like to climb and be active. It’s also a bit of a workout for the parents, especially if your kids need help navigating the big structure. Still, it’s a solid option for rainy-day fun if you know what to expect.

Took the kiddo here today as we had a Friday off. It wasn't too busy and we played for a good few hours. Some of the stuff seemed better for a bit smaller than 7 but spent a ton of time in the air cannon room. Do wish the air cannons had like 10% more power since one side couldn't make it to the other side. The food was surprisingly good and they had beer, coffee, and different drinks.

This place is great....the gal behind the counter, I think her name was Mary Ellen (?), was wonderful. She never sat down the whole time...constantly, cleaning, attending and helping make the experience perfect. The only thing I would suggest is to have TV screens monitoring the inside of the play structure so we can sit out front and watch our kids and join in their fun.

My daughter (19 months) loves this place. We only come on weekday mornings when the bigger kids are in school and the place is almost deserted. It could definitely use a deep clean, as there are dust bunnies everywhere, but compared to other local play spaces it feels clean enough.

While this is a great place for kids to play, much improvement is needed. We reserved a room for a birthday party, a lot of the food items we ordered (juice boxes for kids and popcorn) didn’t show up. The AC was weak, and the place felt like a sauna on a scorching hot day. Quality of food was below average and definitely overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go to Grand Central or Dave&Busters instead.
