The PNA Blue Building, located in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, is a versatile and thoughtfully maintained community space that plays host to a wide range of events and activities. Its standout feature is the upstairs dance studio—an expansive, sun-drenched room with large east-facing windows that flood the space with natural light throughout the day. The floor is constructed of high-quality hardwood, ideal for dance, movement classes, or rehearsals that demand both traction and resilience. A ballet barre lines one wall, supporting dance training and physical conditioning, while high ceilings and good acoustics make the studio suitable for music and performance-related uses. The building maintains a calm and inviting atmosphere, with well-appointed bathrooms and a consistently present front desk and security team to ensure safety and order. In addition to the dance studio, the Blue Building benefits from its ample parking lot—an uncommon convenience in Seattle—which makes it accessible for classes, workshops, or private events. The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA), which manages the building, provides an efficient and professional reservation system and excellent upkeep of facilities. Whether used for arts, fitness, education, or community programming, the space lends itself well to both daytime and evening bookings. The combination of natural light, quality materials, and professional infrastructure makes the Blue Building one of the most desirable studio rental locations in North Seattle.

We hosted a work class here and it was the perfect location for us. They provided chairs and tables and a projector and speaker. Everything we needed was readily available. The staff working were very helpful. And the rental price is great.

Beautiful vintage building, so incredible to see, original chalk boards and handrails, i loved all the character and charm this building has. Ample parking on two levels. One bathroom per floor is not ideal if you are there for a large event as we were. The outdoor area could use some love and life, it looks run down . Dont miss the metal slides that are far more fun than any plastic yellow slide of today.
