I just finished a learn to row program with Pocock and had a wonderful experience! The coaches are amazing and do a great job encouraging participants, provide clear instructions, and inspire an interest in continuing to learn. I learned so much in just a few weeks and would highly recommend the program to anyone who is considering. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who joined us this session — your expertise and participation was much appreciated!

This is a review of the gym only, for May of 2023. Five years ago this place was a solid 4 stars for convenience, equipment, and staff. I moved away, returned recently, and the gym's fallen into hard times. For starters, they've pulled a lot of important gym equipment out, and the little that remains is in poor shape and not maintained. (Yes, ergs are there and in good shape, but a dozen ergs doesn't make a gym.) Next, when I toured there in May I was told about multiple safeguards being put in place to protect youth from adults. Creepy! (That's the way I heard it.) Basically, there were kind of broadcasting that I should feel unwelcome there as a solo adult male, even though I just do my post-work workouts, respect others, and mind my own business. So disappointing. I sincerely help they're able to find funding for new equipment and make the place genuinely safe and inviting for everyone in Eastlake.

Great rowing club. Excellent equipment, including a fleet of new Hudson singles, that gets refreshed regularly. Really good coaching. A variety of programs from learn to row, recreational sweep, intermediate sculling to competitive sweep and sculling teams. More rack space than any other club. And an ideal location for getting to good water given different conditions. No more expensive, and in some cases less, than other clubs. Recommended.

My son just started rowing with their middle school non-competitive program. The center is very organized, has beautiful facilities. The children all seem to be inclusive and welcoming. The coaches are encouraging and accessible. We really like this organization.
