I’ve had the most amazing services here with Alina! She’s absolutely lovely, and has been up for every nail art challenge I’ve tasked her with. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my last set, I had to come back to see her again. This manicure lasted me a month and still looked near perfect-the first two photos show the manicure a month apart, last photo is my most recent set. I had a pedicure service as well, I recommend getting the gel, since the last time I did regular polish, and I didn’t allow it to dry long enough, I messed it up. My feet feel amazing and my pedicure will last at least a month as well. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new salon.

Melania has been doing my nails every 3-4 weeks for the past 6 months. In that time she has profoundly transformed the health and appearance of my nails and the skin around them. My nails are weak, thin, splitty, and deeply ridged, and I got sick and tired of trying to care for them on my own. I also have a nervous habit of picking at the skin around my nails, which makes everything even worse. Since I put my hands into Melania's hands, she has transformed my nails and skin, and I am so thrilled and proud! My nails feel protected and strong. My nail beds are longer, the skin around my nails is healthy, and I just can't stop looking at my beautiful nails! I'm getting compliments all the time! Melania is patient and kind, and she always makes sure that I don't experience any discomfort during the process. The receptionists (usually Amalia) seem to be the only ones in the salon who speak English, so she meets with me at the beginning of the appointment and then relays my comments, questions, requests, etc. to Melania. This works very well, and I always feel heard and understood, respected and appreciated. I'm greeted as a guest - they take my coat, they offer me a beverage and bring me a couple of delicious chocolates. There's also a iPhone charging station on the table for me if I need it. There's nothing they haven't thought of to make my experience as pleasant as possible! I'll continue going to Melania as long as I'm in NYC.

I went into Polished NYC with a janky manicure (see before pic) and a picture of a sleek manicure design (see inspo pic). NOT ONLY did Alina execute my vision flawlessly (see after pic!), but she told me to use cuticle oil to extend the life of my manicure, and it's now been ONE MONTH since my appointment and my manicure is still flawless - no chips, no peeling, no dullness (see last pic). And - my nails have grown, which is always hard for me to do. I am so happy to have found such a talented nail artist who does such high quality work. I have a Pinterest board full of ideas for us to try together and I can't wait to see what she'll do next!
