This west portion is the hiking only trail. This is a great, short trail to take the family on, and dogs are allowed on-leash only. I love how the trails weave in and out of small gullies. Most of all, you can see the entire Salt Lake Valley from here! I do not recall seeing any restrooms.

Horrible. Garbage and dog poop everywhere. Homeless camps. Trails are awful, no views. Avoid at all costs!

There is a parking lot I assume for hikers to use but it's outside the gates of the hill top community. There are no trees from the parking lot to the base of the trail. Extremely hot to travel uphill. Bring a lot of cold water.

There's a separate hiking only and mountain bike only loop. Both are on trailforks. Good way to burn an hour, warmup for bobsled, or ride dry singletrack in the shoulder season.
