The most peaceful and enjoyable creative space I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing! This hidden gem is in a lovely forested residential area with lots of space and beautiful trees. I felt transported to a secret oasis being out in nature, hearing the cardinals and other birds happily singing on the property, and getting to play with clay in the coolest geometric see-through dome while the sun shone through the trees and the wind gently entered the dome through the doorway. The instructor was fabulous, so skilled with pottery, very kind and informative, great at teaching us the basics while helping us with any part we wanted, such as centering the clay. I’ve never before enjoyed doing art as much as I did at Pot Daddy. After playing with the clay and spinning it to our liking for an hour, we got to glaze other guests’ pottery and then purchase 1-2 finished pieces of our choosing. Such a fun and interactive art class! I will absolutely be back and bring new people with me. Pot Daddy is donation based and structured by if you choose to bring one or two pieces of pottery home. Their cat logo is so cute! Also, they provide adorable yellow jumpsuits, aprons, and crocs to be worn to protect your clothes and shoes. There’s a lovely checkin/waiting area.
