I'm only giving this 5 stars because I STAND UP FOR THE LGBT COMMUNITY 100%, but there are a few things you should bear in mind if you go: 1. This *IS* located in the Miami Little Haiti ghetto, the 77 bus route sees tons of mental illness/violence, drug use and prostitution, so avoid public transit if you can. And definitely stay away after dark. 2. Homeless people ruin it for others, so if you are unhoused, dont tell them unless you really need help with housing (they refer clients to B. Riley, an LGBT Sober living @ $800 a month), as youll take it personal when they clock you as you use the bathroom, keep that eye ever over your shoulder as you collect clothes from their clothes closet. 3. Some people do just come there to hook up, just expect it. 4. They DO have a shower and much to their credit laundry facilities for those who seriously need help. 5. Drag queens are totally welcome. 6. They have an exclusive LGBT library, and while you cant check items out, you can read them while there. 7. They have food for the hungry. 8. They DO have (thank god) a trans person who can counsel you on all issues trans. 9. Prep/HIV meds and testing, condoms, the whole shebang all present. 10. the only thing that sucks is their hours 12-8 pm, in my opinion they should open at 8am so as not to be open so late -the homophobes regularly scout the area and hate in order to not accept their own insecurities....... 11. they have a wifi network and phone to make calls to get you resources. 12. They can get you into rehab and they stock OUT South Florida magazine, and got hot guy mags too 13. Rest in Power Andrea Dorea Dos Passos who went to their South Beach location. CONCLUSION: All classist/millenial issues aside, this is the place to go if you need to just BREATH and be loved and accepted.

I had such a negative experience with Pridelines on Monday. I scheduled an appt for STI testing and when I was there, they wanted me to pay for testing and only get it free if I signed up for Prep with them. I got there at my appt time and they didn't want to see me because the testing person was having lunch and asked if I could wait 30 mins when l couldn't wait that long. Andrea in the Liberty City location was so rude about it and wanted to force me to get Prep through this organization if I wanted free testing. All over their page and in their ads they always promote it as free and nowhere does it mention you must be on Prep through them in order to get it free. They mention in their Guiding Principles "that they have a demonstrated commitment to providing health services" for the community and when you get there, they want to charge you. Even in the scheduling page, they have it in large letters "Free and Confidential HIV & STI Testing." I met with Andrea that I have no idea how she is working there with how rude she was. After I told her I just went there for STI testing after I drove about 40 minutes to get there, she told me to initial the paper that I no longer wanted to get tested and in a very demeaning manner told me "sign this form or I'll have to hunt you down" which another of her coworker was inside that office with us and was completely unprofessional. I used to support this organization and now they've become sketchy with awful workers. I DO NOT recommend this organization at all. There's better organizations that truly offer free STI testing services like Latinos Salud, AHF, UMs RAW Clinic, and Project Access Foundation that do free testing regardless who you have Prep with. I drove there for nothing and all they want is you to pay where they are a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Go elsewhere and don't support this organization that truly doesn't care about testing everyone for free. What a disappointment!
