The staff here are okay but it’s the fact that there’s been a rat here for a good month or 2 and nobody has done anything to get them gone. They also have a roach problem and the director still hasn’t called anyone to come spray the house down or something which is not okay when there are little ones (the babies) have to live here too. Very unsanitary!

Very unprofessional. I don’t understand how this place is still open. All the good reviews must be family members or paid actresses. It’s horrible. Make you wake at 5am and can’t come back until 5pm.. So you basically have to roam the streets or sit at the library with your child. And they make you clean up after the staff even though you’ve been gone all day… the rules and procedures makes no sense. They make you go harass other government agencies for help even after you’ve told them it’s a wait list or can’t get into the programs because of capacity. And don’t let you or your child be sick they still kick you out ..and let others be sick and around in the common areas without cleaning up. Needs new staff immediately, care plans and promises . I see why folk rather be homeless

I went to promise house when I was about 15. I'm 36 now and can tell you it helps, I was a troubled teen and my mother sent me there. I was there for about 2 months and I know being there got me back on track. Not sure how things are these days but back then the rooms were clean. On one side of the bathrooms were the boys, the other side were girls. We all had school in the morning and had a room to play pool, listen to music or watch TV. If the kids were good they'd get a day a family member could pick them up to go do stuff but then you'd go back at night. I stayed there 2 months and at first I hated it but it did make me better by not being around the bad crowd.

When I was here 3 months ago everything was fine at first but then me and my roommates started recieving blatant disrespect from the staff. We informed our case manager ms Crystal but she manipulated the situation and said that me and my roommates were in a pack and tried to blame everything on us she was being very biased. Couple days later she tried to give me a violation for no reason. She also yelled at me because one of her staff lied on me stating I was disrespectful in the morning time which wasn't true ms Crystal also yelled at me in the morning time when I was on my way to work. I informed higher up all they did was cover for her when she called me to sign paperwork she said that she feels I didn't need to be there because I was in college had a job and a car. This place is nothing but favoritism and disrespect. Before I left they had new staff there so hopefully whoever now comes won't receive that same treatment me and my roommates had received.
