Not the best burgers and the beer is overrated. We asked if the fries were made in house and were assured that they were. They did not look nor taste like they were though. The milkshake was more like an ice cream, served with spoons instead of a straw because of how thick it was. The most disappointing was actually the service experience. The employees could not recommend anything we asked for and did not even have all the beer they had listed in the restaurant, stating the bar has them all but it was currently closed. We sat outside and observed our server go in the bar with a set of keys to grab something. So if the employees have the access to the bar, why can't they restock what's listed on the menu 🤔

Because Utah, two reviews in one. Proper Burger: I used to really enjoy going here. Homemade buns, zucchini pickles, really delicious burgers, etc. Just good stuff. The last time I went here, there were only four other customers in all of the establishment (bar/restaurant) Our burgers were undercooked, our onion rings were !STONE! cold, like day old possibly, longer? Hard as rocks? Had to wait for the staff at the counter to finish their 5 minute conversation before even being recognized as a living breathing human wanting to order food from them. Our bill for two was over $50, for terrible food and terrible service. Okay now for the brewery: Again I used to love coming here. I recently visited and wanted to sample a beer before buying and was charged $3 for one sip of beer! A teaspoon of beer, to try, so I wouldn't regret buying a pint once I got home. Plus I was expected to tip the bartender. The establishment here has become unvisitable, really unfortunately. Because it used to be soooo good. Oh and also because Utah, Proper beer is sold at Kroger. So additional review on products bought outside Proper establishments. Your Yacht Rocks Juice Box with guava is terrible. Are you sure something wasn't rancid? Taste nothing like Yacht Rocks with or without guava. Have you guys been bought out, are you under new management. Literally everything about you sucks now. A shame I used to like you, won't be patronizing you ever again.

Definitely paying those prices based on location. Definitely not food quality or service. Had a party of 10 with reservations. Server was super nice and polite but besides the standard water at the table it took forever for drinks. Even the appetizers made it out before drinks. Never offered any refills. I had to ask for refills on drinks. Beers weren't even refrigerator cold. Not quite room temp but closer to room temp than refrigerator temp. Food was terrible. Not even the fries were good. Only two people out of the 10 of us said they'd order what they got again, everyone said the fries tasted like they were recooked, and no one said they'd come back there again. Including water glasses, I counted over 28 glasses on the table by time we left. Most of us only got 2 drinks in the two hours we were there. Literally the only thing he ever cleared was a few food plates when he brought back desert. Additionally, he only offered dessert to the individual with the birthday and no one else (one menu straight to him only). There was at least another who wanted dessert. Another odd thing we noticed was the steak dinner and smash burgers were spicy. Neither indicated they were spicy. Maybe a generic sauce they throw on everything.
