The worse pizza slice ever . I used to live in nyc and I love thin pizza , but this one doesn’t have anything on it. No cheese , barely some mushrooms . Barely some tomato sauce. So disappointed . No taste .

Really disappointed with this place. The service was slow — took 30 minutes for a simple order of a cheese pizza, garlic knots, and truffle fries. Meanwhile, I saw other customers being asked if they needed utensils or extras like parmesan or red pepper — I got none of that. I came around 8pm, so it wasn’t closing time either. The food itself wasn’t worth it. The cheese pizza was nearly $20 for a 20-inch NY-style pie that was way too saucy. Garlic knots were tasty but not worth $1 each — $6 for 6 is steep. The truffle fries tasted like frozen store-bought fries tossed in oil, no real flavor at all. What annoyed me even more was the tip screen. The lowest tip option starts at 5%, which feels bold considering how bad the service was — and this was before I even selected “no tip.” I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but this whole experience just wasn’t it. Funny enough, their box says “People disappoint, pizza is eternal.” Hate to break it to you — this pizza disappointed too.

I though the owner was a actually really cool guy, and the inside with outside tables were just as good as the decorations to the building; it was a clean and well managed place. Also, the pizza does have the option to be sold by the slice, and the prices are far better than some sewer sidwalk shop in downtown LA chargning you 9$ by the slice or something. Other than the pizza kinda being cinematically great, yeah, that cheese kinda stretches like the movie animations or live action's; I highly recommend it to anyone passing through. Very good authentic new york style pizza. Igor the owner gave us a great experience and walked us through the different flavors and styles. Nice crispy on the outside and cheese tomato on the inside the way it should be. Will definitely be coming back

First time! Excellent pizza; the sauce was very tasty, the crust was a little thin, and the end were thicker. I like it that way. I would say the only negative is I ordered mushrooms, and there were so few and they were so thin, I almost didn't even know they were on. I will definitely order again. BTW, Nelson is great.
