I recently found this place and it's a great skate shop with awesome customer service. Ryan is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm glad that the south side has a good skate shop with helpful employees and a good selection of boards, clothing and shoes. I've gotten new Nike SB's by following their Instagram account where they always post as soon as the SBs are available. The raffles for very limited SB's are fair based on randomly drawn tickets that are filled out in store. It's a cool spot where you can find parking nearby. The only other Chicago skate shop is in Bucktown and I got a $170 ticket last time because I parked at McDonald's for 15 minutes only to find a boot on my car when I got back. I highly recommend Prosper and will be returning!

This place is great! Took my 11 year old to get his first board and the guy was so kind and helpful! Assembled the board for him and let him pick out all the details. Even gave him some tips. The price point was less then expected too! Go here!
