When Pure Hockey took over, I was a little nervous considering I have always loved Behind The Mask. However, the employees that made BTM so great came over to Pure and it's been a seamless transition in terms of customer service. Chris "Snowman" Snowden-Santi is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy goalie equipment expert, and I have always appreciated his kind and patient demeanor. He has given me several great recommendations and they have all been great suggestions. "CT" always goes out of his way to make sure I feel welcome in the store, and I always appreciate his jokes and banter as it makes for a more enjoyable shopping experience. If you want a quality hockey equipment purchasing experience, go to the shop in Scottsdale. I highly recommend anyone in there!

Michael helped me and he was great, he helped me find the perfect gear for my level and budget, found me my preferred gear color wise and fit wise. The place had amazing offers and deals with merch and gear. They offered a customization service for goalies and great in store shipping. Nice enough I guess. Drove up from Tucson to get a great pair of skates that would last awhile. Rep was helpful and kind enough finding my pair of skates. However, I stood around for 10 minutes until someone acknowledged I was looking to buy something. After I committed to buying, I’m pretty sure I waited for 45 minutes for the actual skates. Seemed like no one cared. Very worried about the quality of skate sharpening and will go to someone else to ensure it is done right. Super weird feel to the shop and I wish there were other options to get measured and buy skates.
