I’ve had two appointments with Missy so far, and can’t imagine life without regular self-care, and her magical, kind service. she listens so thoroughly to all of your beauty and care, goals, and works so hard to make a comfortable experience. Even though I walk away from those appointments feeling beautiful because of my nails, I feel even better because of how Missy treats me and creates such a fun, conversational, relaxing atmosphere. I couldn’t imagine getting my nails done by anyone else in Portland.

The purple door is thee best place to get your nails done professionally in Portland. Years ago I went to a chop shop nail salon where your just a number in a line and got a cut on my toe that turned into an infection that took a year of antibiotics and two surgeries to clear up. So I’m very particular. I go to Allie and she is very clean and precise with her work and I like that she doesn’t try to dig or do things without asking. She is an artist. She Does excellent nail art and is always up to try something new. The salon is cute and clean and has tons of nail color options. This is where you go to find your nail stylist for life. So when you go remember to be patient and trust that they will spend the time and effort on your nails that a quality nail tech should. No more of these chop shops. I’m a lifer now.

Absolutely wonderful and needed pedicure experience! Stumbled upon an advertisement on Groupon for Missy, and am so very happy I reached out! Missy is truly a gem, and superb at her craft! She set my Mom (forgot to grab a pic of her toes!) and I up for a V.I.P. treatment together, as we were celebrating Mother's Day a week early! Missy was flexible and welcoming! Sidenote, Here I thought the only reason why I chose my nail color, was because the name was epic (Mötley Blue). Turns out, they match my favorite Stitch sweatpants perfectly! Despite being over 40 miles away from Missy, she is well worth the travel! Will be back for more!!!

I just had a very disappointing experience here. I booked a mani pedi for me and my mother for her birthday . We arrived on time and we weren’t acknowledged and my pedi started 30 minutes late . We had an appointment for the both of us but we only had one nail tech so it took two hours for a very basic pedicure — no massage, no callous remover , nothing special. The nail tech was nice enough but we didn’t have 3-4 hours planned for a basic mani pedi and I am very disappointed that they didn’t even communicate they didn’t have enough people and were running late . We cancelled our manicure as we were so disappointed with the service .
