I used to come here when I was in college and I remember it having the best apple pie where the apple was sliced so thinly and it was great, but unfortunately, they stopped doing that for a pretty standard apple pie recipe - chunks, not sliced. I was pretty disappointed. The cinnamon roll was good, but they don't warm it for you and sure, they have a microwave you can use, but there's no plates for it - I would have rather them had it behind the counter so I didn't have to put the roll on a napkin just to get it warm. I also got a hot chocolate here and read off of reddit that their hot chocolate doesn't come out scolding - which was true, it was very drinkable when I first got it, but lost its heat pretty quick. This isn't like the Quacks I used to go to and I probably won't be coming back.

I got the twisted chocolate croissant and a au pain chocolate. Look at my past reviews, I EAT croissants! Lots of flake, lots of thickness, they dont skimp on the chocolate and it’s delicious. This is one of the top bakeries in North Austin. It’s best to go during the week as the line can get pretty long with everyone ordering coffee. Ive been going here for years and I wont stop coming back. Thank you quacks for always providing cool ass cookies and pastries.
