We had a very positive experience here and will plan to return. Our server was really polite, and very helpful on giving us suggestions on what to order from the menu. Food does come out at different times depending on what is being ordered, which we were told ahead of time and was not a problem. Everything we ordered was really good, and also enjoyed the bottle that the sake was served in.

While in town for SDCC my husband and I took a chance here and we are so happy we did! The staff is wonderful and attentive, plus they gave great recommendations. The pork belly melted in my mouth and the salmon went down too smooth. Definitely give this place a shot!

The staff members were very friendly and the food was delicious. We were offered complimentary pork belly to try as well and it tasted amazing with the sauce the served on the side. We’ve come here often over the last few years and can’t wait to taste more items on the menu!

This restaurant recently introduced a great happy hour—$4 per glass of Sapporo beer is a fantastic deal! They also have a secret menu with adorable custard buns shaped like pigs and bunnies, which are as delicious as they are cute. The ramen is absolutely amazing, and the sushi is top-notch too. The vibe here is really nice, and the customer service is excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I had the vegan ramen (excellent, added kimchi dumplings), a sweet potato bao bun (yum), and crispy tofu. The last two items are part of the happy hour menu, which is a great deal. The owner came out, spoke to me for a bit, and brought back an off-menu dish if yakitori trumpet mushrooms that were beautiful. This is definitely a new go-to for me!
