I attended Raleigh Endo for approx 2yrs and received exceptional service. The nurses (Julie and Kim) that I dealt with were always so friendly and personable. Dr. Berlin always took the time needed to discuss my care and treatments, and his PA Blakely was always attentive to my needs. Only reason I am leaving is to transition my care back to my primary care that is closer to home.

Please read all the negative reviews prior to scheduling an appointment here- I can attest to the poor customer service. I had a new patient appointment scheduled on 4/16/25. I had tested positive for the flu so I called once I found out to inform them I needed to reschedule. It was after hours so I called and left a voicemail and sent a text message. To no surprise, I never received a call back or response. I tried calling again the following day where I was placed on hold immediately after the phone was answered and after waiting over 10 minutes I hung up. Fast forward two weeks I received a bill in the mail saying I owe $100 for a no-show new patient appointment. I called the office on 5/8 and spoke with someone in billing- I informed her I provided notice why I couldn’t make the appointment and have proof of where I called and texted to inform them I needed to reschedule due to illness. She informed me she would submit a request to have the $100 fee removed and someone would contact me. I received no call. Today on 5/28 I received yet another bill requesting payment for the $100 no show fee. This place surely has no issues sending bills, but lacks in customer service in all areas. I can’t get a call back or anything so they clearly don’t care and would rather just keeping sending a bill. Well not only have they lost my potential business, but I will not be paying the $100. If they continue to try and collect the $100, I’ll be filing a formal consumer complaint with the NCDOJ.

Wow....thats the best word to describe this place, but not in a good way. I called on 3/20/2025 at 3:05pm. to set up an appointment as a new patient. The lady who took my call was very unprofessional since the beginning of the call. As she goes and ask for my insurance and then ask me something that i couldn't understand her. I ask her again and she got upset. The remarks that she made were very rude. I told her that was very rude of her. And she just said, "Have a good day and end the call." Now i understand the bad reviews. Just to think, i chose this place because they were some good. This place has some bad apples 🍎 on the 🌳.

I had a very disappointing experience with this endocrinology office. First, the customer service is terrible — they either hang up on you or send you straight to voicemail. It’s nearly impossible to get a real person on the phone when you need help. I was billed for a 45-minute appointment, but in reality, I only spent about 15 minutes with the doctor.they explained that Dr had to spend 30 min prior my appointment preparing for it …well he came completely unprepared and was studying my history in front it me so it did not seems to me that he did preparation in advance .It feels like they’re just collecting money without providing real care. They take advantage of the fact that most people don’t fully understand medical billing codes, so they choose the most expensive billing codes to maximize charges. Despite being a returning patient, just because I hadn’t been there in a couple of years, they charged me as a brand-new patient again — and billed me at the new patient rate, which is much higher. So if you don’t go regularly, beware — they’ll treat you as if you’ve never been there before and bill accordingly. I also tried to pay with my Health Savings Account (HSA), and they declined the payment — which should be straightforward for a medical office. Apparently, they have issues accepting HSA payments, which caused more hassle. To top it off, when I brought up my concerns, the only advice I got from the doctor was “just don’t eat much” — that’s what nearly $400 got me. Not helpful, not professional, and definitely not worth the cost. This place feels more like a business than a healthcare provider. They’re not patient-centered and clearly not focused on service or integrity. I can’t recommend them and would suggest looking elsewhere if you want fair billing and meaningful care.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Berlin and am so pleased that I was referred to him! He’s comprehensive and listens to patient concerns and questions, explaining next steps thoroughly and what tests he’s planning to run and the reasons why. He really took the time to talk to me and I’m truly looking forward to my next appointment!
