Meat counter closes at 8pm. At 7.55pm I was refused service cause “I have a bus to catch otherwise I am going to be stranded”. I understand that this 5mi before closing, but it is still within the business hours

The deli of this location is by far the worst of any grocery store chain. The deli manager Lory is hostile, unprofessional, and lazy. She is more focused on arguing with customers, not having items out in the deli section, and overall being rude to customers. I would be mad too if I was in my early 100’s and had to work at Ralph’s but I wouldn’t dare let out my frustrations on customers.

A short walk from my hotel. Typical SD prices, but you can find some gems. the sushi did not look fresh or appealing, but I found a good cob salad (basically) with quality meats that was fresh at a good price. The fruit was fresh, but half of the cut mango I bought was inedible (too green). This is a big store, with lots to choose from.

While shopping last night at this Ralph's, there was a customer that was quite unruly and definitely on something. The Ralph's team did a great job staying calm and dealing with the person in a protective way while waiting for security. I didn't stay for the outcome, but the gentleman cashier whom the man got in his face, should get a pat on the back as well as the cashier who was running the self checkout stalls, and the others too. I would suggest speaking with the security man whom they had a hard time finding, but the Ralph's team was great in a stressful situation. Thank you!

This is handed down the best grocery store I've ever been in. Need a pot come on I need whatever they carry it. It's a beautiful store well put together. Just don't go after 9:00 because I only have one checker there and 30 people in line
