Overall, this is a good-value gym for the price. However, some of the student staff come across as extremely cold and expressionless. I don’t expect them to greet members with a smile every time, but certain student employees avoid eye contact entirely. Even every time when you say “thank you” to them, they remain expressionless, say nothing, and don’t even glance at you. Most of the student staff are friendly and welcoming, but a few have such an off-putting attitude that it makes the experience uncomfortable. I’m not sure if this is due to personal reasons or a management issue

I called the front desk inquiring about car parking. Girl who picked up did not know off the top of her head regarding the redemption hours of the car garages. Which was fine because she asked her coworker and found out for me which was nice. I asked her another question and the phone was taken from her and a different girl just tells me “you can find all the information on our website goodbye!” Insanely disrespectful… I get it if you dont know and just tell me to go on the website to check myself from the beginning but to already tell me and not finish answering the question because it is 10:45 (still 15mins away from close) and you want to just get out from maybe 10 seconds of work…

why am i paying for a membership if i'm going to be kicked out of empty studios during free times for dancing? their policies make no sense and they clearly show preferences toward people they know. having their membership is a complete waste of time and money

I pay for my student access to the ray every quarter and I am not allowed to practice my dances for my DePaul club. It is super upsetting because I pay to use the ray but am not allowed to use the services. I also am unable to make reservations as they recommend because there are never any spaces available. MAKE STUDENT SPACES AVAILABLE TO THE STUDENTS!!!
