R&D have been around for a hot minute and it's great to see their development as a Brewery. Their new taproom is very chill and laid back! Not too busy, not too crowded, friendly staff and a really good environment! It has a great location and their beers are really good and they have a selection for all tastes. Plus they are the home of the Strom Brew, Carolina Hurricanes NHL official beer and the Durham Bulls beer! So let's support local beers that cheer up our local teams!!! The place is Dog friendly, and it's a great taproom to relax without the big crowd. If you want to get some work done and sip good beer, this is your place! I highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

I love this place! It’s always a good time! Allie and Amanda are a delight! I want to give them piggy back rides around the triangle!! Anyways, I can’t wait to sport some R&D Brewing gear when I go out west for summer and will tell anyone that’ll listen to me how “Seven Saturdays” is the perfect IPA! Love you mean it

Today was my first time at the Seven Saturdays taproom at R&D Brewing and it was fantastic. I went there as a part of the events team for Saving Grace NC animal adoption. The owner was gracious enough to donate a dollar per beer during our event. They are very accommodating and it was an amazing venue, we had a great turnout, they have friendly staff and delicious beers. We look forward to doing more in the future with this brewery!

Where do I start? The inside of the taproom is a sight to behold. There’s a lounge area a good distance away from the bar if you don’t feel like “bellying up” to the bar. There’s also outdoor seating, which is always nice. Their beers are all fantastic. All three of their IPAs currently on tap are scrumptious. Although I’m not usually a dark beer fan, I must say their “Caramelizer” stout is absolutely delicious. Beware, it’s abv is 10% or close thereto. My favorite of their offerings is their “Remix” double IPA. It’s one of the better DIPAs that you will find, in my opinion of course. It has a distinctive pineapple taste that balances out the hops nicely. It comes in at 8.8% abv. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up purchasing a 4 pack of pint cans. The only downside is that their beers are expensive. However, it should be noted that that is the case with almost all craft breweries. The bartenders are always welcoming and friendly. They’re happy to give you samples if you’re unsure what you’d like (unlike some other breweries that hesitate to give out small samples; looking at you, Burial). I’ve yet to go to this taproom on a weekend day, but on weekdays it certainly isn’t an overcrowded s***show. It’s a pleasant place to grab a brew, or a hat, as pictured haha. I most definitely recommend this establishment. 9/10.

Really nice tap room and of course great beers including ones you can only find here. Outdoor and in door seating. A little tricky to find the access road but easy after that. Plenty of parking.
