I tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt and have purchased about $400 of items from them for my son’s slash in the last month. First time the employee sold me an incorrect control arm and after driving back from La center, WA they told me oh they don’t normally do returns unless it’s sealed. BUT they did swap out for the correct part. YOU told me it would work in his application. Strike 2: today, my son needs a new servo and instead of buying the Traxxas OEM they sold me into a $100 savox. I made SURE they confirmed it would work in our application. I get home and the wires are too short and it won’t mount into the OEM servo cut out. I called before driving all the way back from La center and was told “oh we only take returns if it’s not sealed in the package with a receipt” I guess it’s my fault I did not ask for a receipt but I figured paying with my credit card that has my name on it they could marry up the sale they just had an hour ago… so be careful if you shop here. Don’t trust anything the sales associates advise you on. I try to support small business as I am a small business owner myself. These guys could stand to brush up on their customer service.

Love this place!!! Excellent selection, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Always fun to stop in, buy something and get inspired to play more. They usually have a project underway, laid out on the front table to check out. They now sell 3D printers too!

I've used this store in the past. I went to buy a Furitek motor and esc. They did not have it in stock. No big deal, but the attitude of one of the sales people had such an awful attitude that I would not have purchased from him anyways. I left and went to Hobby Town who also did not have the motor in stock. They could order it for me though. I like to buy local and I like to have a helpful sales person. It's even better if they are pleasant to deal with. RC Hobbies was NOT this for me.

Called over the phone they didn't specify how I would get my refund.. drove over an hour to find out it's in store credit only.. I just bought parts the day prior and find out the esc was bad.. wasn't worth fixing.. any other place in the world would give me my money back for items unopened.. these small stores have a way of keeping your money.. that's y I'm staying with Amazon or hobbytown.. not to mention it's cheaper on amazon.. lipo batts are 11 to 15 each.. same ones here start at 50.. if u buy from these small stores and say a year later want to sell on marketplace or something.. u will post your item too high cause of these places overcharging and keeping your money.. u will think howcome no one is buying my used item for cheaper than u can buy at the store..it maybe because they are buying online.. and can return items unlike here u can't even amazon has free returns.. cash back...

Took lipo battery to have shop solder on deans connector. Young man showed me my battery voltage @ 11.54v before soldering. Young man went in back and soldered on deans connector. Came out with lipo but never showed voltage to me. I assumed battery is good and put in protection bag, I say thank you and leave. Get home to charge battery. Battery balancer does not detect lipo. Plug in turnigy battery voltage checker, unit does not turn on when plugged in. Check with other cell, works. Call shop and explain I was just there. Young man says he checked battery voltage before bringing it out to me. I explain that he did not check battery condition in front of me, so how do I know you didn't fry my battery. Young man in the shop told me "sorry, can't do anything for you." You took $8 dollars from me for a job I paid you to do, you didn't do the job right and destroyed a cell in my 3s battery. What a horrible business. Karma will follow you. I should have just drove the extra distance to hobbytown where they do a great job soldering. Use shop tech at your own risk.
