We rented the Granny for two hours in the evening and had the best time! Commodore Bill was extremely helpful and accommodating. The Granny pontoon was incredibly clean and spacious. Rent Chicago Boats is awesome for getting out on the water! They have lots of different boats called pontoons, like the Granny Pontoon or the Meemaw Pontoon, which are great for all kinds of groups. If you want a chill ride or a big party on the water with their Floatzilla, they've got it. They even teach you how to drive a boat if you want to be the captain! Besides just renting boats, they also do cool events. You can go on a scavenger hunt, a fishing trip, or celebrate special days like weddings, company outings, or birthdays. And watching the fireworks from their boat is super cool! You can book a boat any time of year, and sometimes even on the same day. We rented the Grand Baby for three hours (did not hire a captain) and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our initial reservation was from 7 to 10 but we modified the schedule to 8 to 11 in order to view the fireworks at Navy pier that begin at 10. Bill was very accommodating and facilitated the change in our rental time. Although we started a few minutes later than planned, he advised us to return slightly later to make up for the delay. I would also like to acknowledge Bill’s son who assisted us with boarding and preparing the boat while bill attended to another customer. He’s young and demonstrates a strong work ethic. We look forward to renting again.
