We came here late for food at around 11:30pm after a concert. Before we stopped at this restaurant, we had stopped by a few places that were "open" but kitchen closed because it was so late. I was really pleased Rhein Haus had a late night menu, seemed prepared for late night guests and were happy to serve us. The food came timely, it was delicious, the drinks were good, and the service was great.

This is a great lodge haus feel while providing the sports and energy you want. Interior is designed like you would expect to see in Germany on the slopes- fireplace and all. The food is made and fresh. Fast service, super friendly staff, plenty of seating on either level. But not crowded and no bumping into each table. Such a cool place. Worth a visit just to see it!

If you are german (like me) you can skip the place for the food. It was ok (Americanized). The beer is very good. Very good selection. The service was great. We had a super sweet server (i apologize for not remembering the name, though she was from Peru). She was coming back several times to check if we were good to go. Oh, and order their pretzels. They are awesome (Rhein Hause if you read this offer it with butter on the side, not melted on top). ❤️

I'm not sure you could convince me to come back and give this place a second chance when there are so many other options in the city. We were placed in the nearby pub since there was no seating in the restaurant. They said it was the same staff and kitchen. It definitely felt like nobody cared about being there. Service was hit and miss. The food was okay; nothing worth writing home about. We got dessert but it was burned... twice. Thankfully they took it off our bill but we had to wait over an hour because they weren't really telling us what was going on. I would rather have left. If they're busy, maybe come back a different night.

Love this place! I've been coming here for a few years now whenever I can before a game. Great beer, great pretzels, and everything else I've had has been fantastic. We most recently had the smorgasbord, and no joke, the sausage and mashed potatoes that came with it were the best I'd ever had. Everything else on the smorgasbord was great too, it's just that the sausage and mashed potatoes were out of this world and deserved their own shout-out. The staff is always great too. They're always welcoming, checking on us, and are very knowledgeable about the menu items.
