Drive two hours and was ultimately disappointed. Good selection of instruments, nice practice rooms. Pretty lousy trade in value though. The prices on in store instruments are not horrible but I would not bother trying to trade in instruments here, the estimates rival guitar centers insulting low ball offers. Trade in values are 50% (or lower) Be wary!

Love this place! These guys are super easy to deal with and have a very cool store. No hassle, and I got a fair price on a vintage Ric. They also threw in a really nice strap and some picks. I will definitely be back!

This place is great! The staff is very knowledgeable, and realistic about used gear. They are happy to take their time showing you what they can offer to suit your needs. Their modular room is kind of stunning, and my daughter loved the trinkets up front. Thanks for a great shopping experience - I'll be back for my next modules!

They have excellent guitars. They have a huge selections of old amplifiers. They have the only modular synth set up in Chicago that actually has inventory. The staff really know what they’re talking about. They are closed on Sunday and Monday and that’s not ideal but hey, they need a time off too. Come on up to Rock ‘n’ Roll Vintage and Synth City. You might find something you like.

This has been my go-to place to buy music gear since I moved to Chicago. They have an incredible range of new and vintage stuff. Guitars, synths, pedals, you name it. Bought a new guitar and bass from them recently and Jason made it easy. Super helpful and friendly, letting me try stuff out, and checking stock in the back right away. And shout out to their luthier Ben who did an awesome job the (included!) set-up. Awesome business and team.
