Had a fantastic time with Z as our tour guide. Against all odds (nothing anticipated or because of the company or guide), my family had a blast touring the city on segways!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. We had the best time on the Segway tour of Downtown Denver. Would definitely do it again and suggest.

Great for a short tour of the downtown without walking your legs off . Little bits of information given at a few stops . Booking was very accommodating

Absolutely the most fun way to tour downtown Denver! Josh was amazing! He was so patient with everyone in our group as the beginners (all of us) learned how to use a Segway. Book the tour! You wont regret it, it 1000% worth it!

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE - If you are looking for an informative tour of Denver, this is NOT the tour for you. Our tour guide, Kyler, was unfortunately very lethargic and not friendly. The website says to arrive 10 minutes early - we did this and our tour guide was not there yet and we had to wait for him to arrive. The tour was not narrated as you rode, as other Segway tours sometimes are. Rather, we stopped briefly at a few locations where we could take pictures, but did not learn anything about the city. Very disappointing. It seemed as though he was texting or googling things on his phone as we went through the tour to the different locations. If you were the last person in the tour, you were barely making it across the red lights in time. Not very safe. I gave this two stars instead of one because the ride itself was fun and we did cover a lot of Denver. Just wish I knew what I was riding past. We did tell our guide we wanted an informative experience from the start, and he did not do this. Do not recommend. Or, if you are going to book, make sure you don't have Kyler as your guide.

Why choose a Segway tour over traditional walking or bus tours for your next meetup? Segways combine the best of both worlds: the closeness to the environment and freedom of walking tours plus the speed and comfort of motorized transportation. They allow groups to cover more ground without exhaustion, which is especially important when socializing for longer periods. Unlike bus tours where conversation may be limited due to noise and seating arrangements, a Segway tour keeps the group close and interactive. It also adds an element of novelty and playfulness that’s bound to make the outing more memorable. Group members get to experience something unique together—learning new skills, navigating the city on electric vehicles, and sharing spontaneous moments that don’t happen in more conventional group settings.
How can Rocky Top Glide Segway Tours enhance special occasions or team-building events? The company offers tailored experiences ideal for celebrations or corporate outings, turning a typical meet-and-greet into an engaging and interactive adventure. Segway tours encourage cooperation and friendly competition in a low-stakes environment, helping participants break the ice and bond organically. The physical activity energizes the group, improving mood and camaraderie, while the shared challenge of mastering the Segway adds a fun sense of achievement. This makes it an excellent option for birthdays, anniversaries, or even team-building exercises where both fun and trust-building are goals. The knowledgeable guides can also customize routes and experiences to best fit the specific group's needs, enhancing personalization and group cohesion.
What practical tips should groups know before booking? It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for light outdoor activity, as the two-hour tour involves standing and balancing on a Segway. Participants should consider any physical limitations or balance concerns, as Segway riding requires a moderate level of coordination. Groups are encouraged to arrive a bit early to acclimate to the Segways with the instructors’ guidance. For larger groups, booking in advance helps ensure availability and can secure customized group rates or experiences. Since the tours cover multiple city neighborhoods and trails, bringing a camera or smartphone is a must to capture the memorable moments. Finally, embracing the spirit of adventure and a willingness to learn makes the experience even more enjoyable.
In summary, Rocky Top Glide is more than a tour company; it’s an opportunity to rally friends and family around an active, exciting experience that blends urban exploration with outdoor fun. Its well-crafted routes, enthusiastic guides, and focus on group enjoyment make it one of Denver’s top choices for those looking to break away from the usual meetup routine. Whether it’s a casual day out or a special celebration, Rocky Top Glide Segway Tours offers a compelling reason to gather and glide together.
