Their burgers are great. Got myself a Big Tex and it slapped. Agreed, $19 is a little pricey, but, I mean, it IS in downtown Dallas. Granted that Big Tex left me full and satisfied though. Service was great too! Been an honor, y'all!

I got stuck in Dallas after my flight was canceled and was so glad to find Rodeo Bar open late on a Monday night. I ordered the chili cheese fries and the chicken ranch wrap, and both were absolutely delicious—comfort food done right! What really stood out, though, was the service. My server, Yusuf, was so attentive and kind, making sure I had everything I needed. Kadir, the supervisor and bartender, was also incredibly welcoming and created such a great atmosphere. Even though the night started off stressful, Rodeo Bar turned it around and made my evening enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Dallas!

I went in for lunch before an international flight. The waitress asked me for an order and she quickly bought me my coke. A few minutes later she returned and asked me if I was ordering food, I reminded her she’d already taken my order and she quickly went and processed it. Food came quickly and was good. When the bill came I was told the hotel included a 20% sales tax (I wasn’t aware I was I a hotel) and a couple on the other side of the bar also queried the tax as they weren’t aware. The. I’ll came to $18.36 and the waitress asked if I wanted change. I said yes because I wanted to get rid of my coins before I flew out and was consolidating my money. I didn’t say that was why I wanted change because I didnt have to but she seemed annoyed. After much flaffing around she returned with $1 and told me that they don’t do coin change. Wow, if that’s the case this establishment should say so and also adjust the bill accordingly. I left a tip in coins but it wasn not deserved. Again, I have no problem paying a bill or tipping but if you’re including a 20% sales tax and don’t give coin change you need to be upfront about it.
