This is gunna be a long review but it's everything you need to know lol I've gone to a good handful of ROLLs over the years and it's always a experience of its own..I do enjoy the huge venue with multiple rooms (dance floor, karaoke room, outside smoking area, outside food truck/ alley, rink floor). Overall there is a lot to do. Now when I wasn't very proficient in skating I was horrified of that skating rink. Now that I'm wayyyy more experienced I've realized that I can dodge a lot of falling grabby hand flailing armed individuals on skates. I love the posts about this event stating how dangerous it is and how they shouldn't have any food or drinks like all the other rollerskating rinks. Well the whole point of this event is to drink and skate. It's not even a rink it's a tapped off square in the middle of the floor where you are literally skating in little circles its tiny comparing to actual rinks. The staff does its best to clean up the spilled beverages but it happens so much that as soon as you see people go over that liquid its a total domino effect. I've never seen so many horrendous falls that I have no other beliefs than these individuals are 100% robots made out of liquid metal robot goo that can bounce back up from their unspeakable travesty and do it again moments later laughing. But on another note I've never seen so many beer saves in my life. The weird skills you see at this event is just one of the many reasons why you should go. Now if you would like to NOT put your life at risk. You can go early at 6pm and you can actually see the floor and warm up before chaos gremlins appear at 8pm. At which I would recommend having the gremlin cyborgs reek havoc till they leave skwasted at midnight and then you can remain skating without the fear of danger till 2am. But if you want to live on the edge I highly suggest you join that Game Of Skates from 9 to 12am. In general I love this event. Just be weary that when you mix alcohol, skates, and not a lot of experience someone is going to leave hurt. That's what the waiver you sign is covering. You are responsible for you own actions and injuries. 🛼

Went with a friend for girls night out. We had a blast. Friendly door and bar staff. Good skating and music; I did not rent (have my own), but friend did. Skate counter was fast and easy (skate rental included in admission) and lessons before for those that want them, though we didn't do it. You don't have to be on wheels to have fun here, but why wouldn't you be?!

It was a fun vibe but I couldn't actually skate much because the skates were in such poor condition. One had a broken lace and the other had no tongue. Both were so worn that they hurt to wear or skate with. I saw tons of people with their own skates and this is probably the reason. If you had good skates it would be really fun.
