Super nice Italian bakery. Everything is delicious and fresh. The sandwiches are big and you can easily share. The pistachio dessert is tasty and I will return to buy more😅. The customer service was arrogant and unfriendly. The poor service is a major turn-off, and we will not be back. No matter how good the food is, rude staff will ruin the experience! We found this Italian bakery during exploring NYC and decided to try it as it was very crowded (on Sunday afternoon) and we thought it must be popular. While the cafe was visually stylish, the customer service was very awful. The staff was rude (not very helpful) when we asked about their products, because it was our first time in their bakery. The cashier had also unprofessional behavior and was biting her nails at the register. We tried their raspberry and cream custard-filled croissants, which cost about $6 each.

This place gets busy. The way they are setup they can handle the crowds. The quality and presentation of the pastries is superb. I fell in love with pistachio cornettos in Italy so that is my go-to selection when I visit an Italian pastry shop. This one definitely does the job. They are not stingy with the pistachio cream either. It tasted really good and fresh. The only thing that was missing was the experience of sitting at a corner cafe in Sicily 😉.
