I absolutely love Russian Tea Time—it’s such a unique gem! Every time I visit Chicago, it’s at the top of my list. Their menu is always offering something new, and this time I had the vegetarian platter truly out of this world! As a foodie who enjoys exploring all kinds of flavors, I really appreciate their wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Even after a change in ownership, the food tastes just as incredible as it did when I last visited in 2017. The service is always above and beyond, and the atmosphere is elegantly fancy. This place will always be one of my favorites!

After having the tea service last time we were in Chicago, we had to make it back for a full dinner. Glad we did because it was fantastic! Food was all prepared fresh and very flavorful! Everyone enjoyed their dishes and our shared dessert.

Great spot for afternoon tea. They offer Classic Tea and Queens Tea. The restaurant is rich with velvet booths and dazzling details. Service was phenomenal. We enjoyed the passion fruit tea and earl gray bravo teas. The tower of food started with light and fluffy scones. The jam was on point. Also served with whipped cream. Next was the variety of sandwiches: egg salad, chicken salad, roasted red pepper, spring roll, salmon and cucumber. All were tasty, though I enjoyed the roasted red pepper and egg salad the most. Sweet treats finished out our tea which included frosted cupcake, butter cookies, peach cake, lemon bar and the most delicious banana frosted cake. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. They do get quite busy.

So glad we found this gem! It was our favorite place to eat it while we were visiting Chicago! The atmosphere took me back in time with a vintage and classy feel to it and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the bread and tea service and they offered a seasonal dessert with cherries that was absolutely phenomenal! We will make a stop next time we’re in town!
