Ate here before a show because we were starving and had a pretty good experience. Our server did their best to accommodate our small time frame for dining. Great chicken wings, I'd recommend getting the NC hot and ask for extra sauce because it's delicious and they need to put more on there. I'd also recommend the fries because you get a lot of food and they are LOADED. Wine was great as well.

I recently stayed again at the Marriott in Raleigh, which is conveniently connected to The Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen. On my previous visit a few months ago, I was curious about the restaurant but didn’t give it a try. This time around, I finally did—and I’m so glad I did! The food was outstanding. On my first night, I had the baby back ribs, mac and cheese, and fries. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese, in particular, was so good that I had to order it again the next night. On that second visit, I tried the burger with fries and another side of mac and cheese—again, absolutely delicious. I also had breakfast there, opting for the strawberry-stuffed French toast with sage sausage. The French toast was delightful—rich, sweet, and satisfying. The strawberry filling was very fresh, which might not be to everyone’s taste (it was a bit too fresh for me), but still definitely edible and enjoyable overall. Highly recommend giving The Rye a try whether you're staying at the Marriott or just in the area. Solid food, great atmosphere, and worth coming back for!

Make sure you schedule an additional hour to your expected breakfast time. Wait staff were in short supply, and we had to actively seek out staff for beverages during our long wait for our food. The breakfast food was top-notch, though! Dinner was another waiting experience, and we went up to the bar for most of our drinks. Every steak the group had was less than impressive. The brussel sprouts were excessively charred, and the only thing with much taste was the mushrooms.

RYE is in a very convenient location in the heart of Raleigh, NC. It's literally a 5 minute walk to the convention center and amphitheater .. A HUGE convenience! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and character. We all ate their RYE burger with crinkle fries and onion rings- outstanding! Definitely recommend for an after work drink, up to a family meal.

Not impressed with the food. Short rib roll was no where near tender enough, Pancakes were soggy, bacon was either to thick or over cooked. Sprouts were good. Coffee was terrible.
