Sadelle’s Miami has quickly become one of my top three favorite breakfast spots in this area. 🥞🍳 The breakfast food is absolutely delicious — everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The location and atmosphere are also really pleasant, making it a perfect place to start the day. Highly recommend!

Once upon a time this spot was Tigertail & Mary (RIP 💔), but here we are at Sadelle’s. I popped in for lunch, and while it wasn’t a disaster, I left wishing the menu had a bit more to choose from. The salads? Massive. Like, “bring a plus one” massive—and yes, they come with tableside tossing, which was probably the highlight thanks to the one staff member who actually seemed happy to be there. The rest of the team… let’s just say they gave off “rather be anywhere else” energy. The hostess barely glanced up when we arrived, which didn’t exactly scream “welcome.” Oh, and our gluten-free bagel experiment? Came out burnt. That said, the space itself is undeniably pretty—worth a stop if you’re in the mood for a photo op and a salad the size of your head.

I’m not a big of omelets and this one was spectacular: mushroom, ham and Munster cheese. The portion will you and maybe you can share it if you order something else. Pancakes are very unique. Very attentive hostess and the whole staff in general. No reservation needed. Very casual, actually I went after my yoga class in sport clothes. Big restaurant and good brunch option.

We went to Sadelle’s to celebrate a very special friend’s baby shower with a brunch, and everything was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the service was great, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Whenever I have a special occasion and want to do a brunch or breakfast, I usually choose Sadelle’s because it never lets me down. It’s always a great experience!

I went here twice in my weekend to Miami. This place is top notch and the best quality brunch in the area. The location Is incredible, it makes you feel like you’re having brunch in a tropical oasis. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the matcha. I’m really confused on how this Sadelles does not have higher ratings due to the high quality of the food and the service. If you want a quick breakfast, you could also go to the left (the cafe) and pick up anything on the menu very quickly.

What activities can your group enjoy at Sadelle's Coconut Grove?
Sadelle's Coconut Grove is much more than a typical restaurant; it’s a venue designed for social engagement and culinary exploration tailor-made for groups. Your meetup can revolve around several activities, starting with their celebrated brunch service that features a variety of shareable dishes. The "Sadelle’s Tower," a substantial and visually impressive platter of smoked fish and bagels, is one centerpiece for shared enjoyment, encouraging conversation and communal eating, though some warn it can be pricey. Beyond that, dishes like cheese blintzes, French toast with a crisp, sweet custard interior, and classic egg dishes invite friends to try multiple items and swap plates, encouraging a dynamic dining experience. Pair these with freshly sliced hand-cut smoked salmon, sable, sturgeon, and other fish delicacies that reflect the restaurant's New York roots to evoke a sense of culinary adventure.
In addition to eating, the large indoor and outdoor seating areas allow your group to socialize comfortably, whether you prefer the ambiance of shaded outdoor seating amidst Coconut Grove’s lush surroundings or the lively energy of the stylish interior. The restaurant’s vibrant, buzzy atmosphere—elevated by attentive, though sometimes slow, service—creates an environment that begs for lively conversation, laughter, and shared selfies, making the outing memorable. For groups interested in extending their time, Sadelle’s offers a dessert menu featuring indulgent options such as babka a la mode and extravagant sundaes, perfect for those wanting to cap the meal with a sweet finish. The overall experience is part dining, part social event, making it an ideal backdrop for meetups aimed at reconnecting or celebrating.
Why is Sadelle's Coconut Grove perfect for a group meetup?
Sadelle’s Coconut Grove excels as a meetup spot primarily because of its ambiance, menu flexibility, and layout designed for communal dining. The spaciousness allows groups of various sizes to feel comfortable without overcrowding, supporting both intimate conversations and animated group banter alike. The diversity of seating options—from cozy indoor tables to breezy outdoor spots—means your group can select the ideal environment to match the mood or weather of the day. This flexibility ensures that whether your group prefers lounging outside with a view or being in the heart of the bustling interior, everyone can find their happy place.
Additionally, Sadelle’s menu is crafted to stimulate shared dining. The emphasis on platters and small plates invites groups to order several dishes to share, creating a communal dining experience that builds connection through food. This concept caters perfectly to groups who enjoy sampling a range of flavors and dishes instead of everyone having one isolated entree. Suggestions like the excellent cheese blintzes and mushroom barley soup highlight the quality and variety, making the meal interactive and fun. Furthermore, Sadelle’s reputation for fresh, quality ingredients, particularly its hand-cut smoked fish and well-prepared brunch specialties, adds a premium feel that impresses friends and family, making gatherings feel special.
The restaurant’s status as a hotspot with a trendy crowd also means your meetup feels like an event. Dressing up and arriving here signals a stylish, fun occasion, which is great for groups wanting an “Instagrammable” setting with good vibes and attractive presentation. While some note service can be slow during busy periods, the attentive staff and overall experience compensate, particularly when the group atmosphere elevates the moment. In sum, Sadelle’s offers the perfect synergy of ambiance, cuisine, and setting to transform a simple meal into a memorable group celebration.
What should groups expect in terms of the food and service experience?
When rallying at Sadelle’s Coconut Grove with friends or family, one should expect a high-energy dining environment with some variability in service speed. Many guests appreciate the quality of the food, especially standout dishes like the French toast, cheese blintzes, and a variety of smoked fish selections, which showcase a nod to the restaurant’s New York origins. The vibrant menu caters well to group sharing, and ordering a variety of dishes encourages exploring different tastes together, enhancing the communal spirit.
However, patience is important: due to the restaurant’s popularity and busyness, especially on weekends, service may be slower than at more casual venues. Guests have reported waits for seating despite reservations and some delays in food reaching the table. While the staff is generally attentive, the pace can create some frustration if expectations aren’t managed. Despite these service hiccups, the food and atmosphere encourage many to overlook the minor inconveniences, focusing instead on the quality of the flavors and the buzz of the crowd.
Groups should also be prepared for premium pricing—some items, notably the multi-item bagel towers, can feel expensive, and not all guests agree these dishes provide commensurate value. Still, the overall dining experience maintains a balance between quality and trendiness, supporting the idea that the venue is not just about the meal but also about the social experience. Those who appreciate lively, fashionable settings with thoughtfully crafted menu options and are willing to treat the outing as a special occasion will find Sadelle’s a fitting choice.
