Awful experience. Used the self checkout and because they use AI video sensors, when I didn’t put my scanned item immediately in the bagging section it started flashing. The old lady watching us came over and immediately started accusing us of stealing saying “you are on camera” and “why did you put your items there it’s not supposed to go there” which threw me completely off guard. Never would I steal groceries as I work hard to afford them. She was so rude to not only me and my partner but other customers who had flashing checkouts. I expect more from such an expensive store. Very unhappy with their very rude customer service.

I’m beyond DISGUSTED with this store. We went in to get a prescription and asked to use the restroom. They told us we had to go to customer service and get a key and “hopefully” someone will be there with the key but it might take a while. An elderly lady had to use the bathroom and broke down in tears. The manager refused to help her. We told the lady we would cover her up and she could go on their floor. The manager threatened to call the cops which I wish he had! But the lady ran off embarrassed. I don’t care if you have a homeless problem (which was their excuse) , this is not a way to treat people. I’ll never shop at Safeway since I see a complaint from a week ago and apparently you all don’t care. We will take our business to king soopers

We went in this safeway to pick up lotto for the week. The machine was malfunctioning so we told a manager. He said the machine is fine but it will not do online tickets and I know more than you do and you cannot get your money back because you all ready put it in. We argued back and forth with the whole time him telling us we don't know what we're doing, just short of him calling us stupid.

Nice facility but they lock their public bathrooms. My son had to go so bad and waited more than 10 mins for someone to come back and let him in. There was no one at the customer service down so we had to track down someone who said they would help but didn’t so we had to go track down a second person down. Bad service.
