05/04/2025 My daughter and I made a quick store, where I started scanning my 6 item purchase my 3 year old daughter placed her jacket on the scale Which through the balance off the scanned item bagging locking me out. Maria One of the employees that was Supervising the self check out area came over to check my Items and I explained nicely what happened while she checked My transaction thr screen showed her how many items or scanned and the names of the items HOWEVER it was clear she was Overly checking small purchase Making it uncomfortable, as if I’m stealing. She had Took my Minute Maid juice that was already scanned & charged Out of the bagging area. I had explained toher that this item is already scanned. She Walked away To help friends or Possible family members Based on Their conversation in Spanish That were purchasing nothing but alcohol.. (An elderly woman saw what was happening And kindly offered her Register I had to re-scan all of my items at a different register. Upset I went to another register and re-scanned all of my Not knowing that I am bilingual Maria was having a conversation with the two men who were purchasing again only beer in self checkout making very nasty, racist, comments! Feeling super embarrassed, mad, and upset. I did ask to speak to a store supervisor but I stopped midway because it was late and I had a cranky toddler. I will never Shop at a Safeway again!!! DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM I WILL NOT SUPPORT! I ADVISE ALL AFRICAN-AMERICAN PEOPLE BLACK PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SAFEWAY !!!!!!!

Great store except for there never being anywhere to park for the pick up order parking. They have 2 spots that are constantly taken by people shopping inside. If the spots can’t be used for their proper purpose maybe stop offering the service all together.

Location had some out of stock items. The prices are much higher at this Safeway compared to other competing stores. Overall, we won’t be shopping Safeway again. It’s just cheaper elsewhere.
