Today I had a 30 minute massage with Lauren and I left feeling so amazing! Her energy was so kind, warm, and welcoming! I explained to her that I have a condition that causes injuries with my joints and she immediately knew I was referring to hyper mobility. It is a rare condition so it is even more rare for people who don’t have it to know what it is. Her already having this knowledge made me feel so safe and comfortable. I told her that my hips have been my problem areas recently and so she focused there which left me walking like new (this is not an exaggeration!). She catered to all of my needs and put genuine care into my massage! She truly is so kind. Sage Roots is welcoming to ALL women of color, age, weight, the list goes on!
